Hypertectum AF FC
Rapid-curing, UV-resistant polyurethane membrane, white or grey.
Introduction
Hypertectum AF FC is a one-component polyurethane liquid membrane based on Humidity-Activated-Accelerator technology. The accelerator is built into the product in a blocked form: on contact with humidity it is released and accelerates the curing of the material. As a result, it cures rapidly, whatever the weather, to form a completely bubble-free and defect-free membrane with excellent mechanical and elastomeric properties.

Hypertectum AF FC — full specificationBefore you start
Clean with a high-pressure washer where possible. Remove oil, grease, wax, cement laitance, loose particles, mould-release agents and old cured membranes. Fill irregularities.
Concrete conditions: R28 ≥15 MPa, moisture <10%, temperature 5–35 °C, RH <85%. Suitable substrates include concrete, fibre-cement, mosaic, cement roof tiles, sound acrylic and bituminous coatings and wood.
Application
Mix at low speed (300 rpm). Apply by brush, roller or airless spray in one or two coats, total 1.8–2.6 kg/m². For spraying the sheet allows 5–10% suitable solvent.
Do not exceed 48 hours between coats. If more time has passed, or interlayer adhesion is uncertain, contact ETS Europe.
Where it goes
Roofs, verandas, balconies, light roofing (metal/fibre-cement), bituminous membranes, EPDM membranes, gypsum/cement boards, polyurethane insulation foams.
Limitations
Not recommended on unsound substrates or in pools in contact with chemically treated water. Always select and apply the required primer.
Cleaning and storage
Wipe tools with dry paper or cloth, then clean with a suitable solvent. Do not reuse rollers. Contains flammable solvents: keep away from flames and sparks and provide adequate ventilation. Consult the safety data sheet before use.
Pack sizes: 1, 6, 15 and 25 kg. At least 9 months unopened in a dry place at 5–25 °C; use as soon as possible once opened.
