Hypertectum AF
Aliphatic PU finishing coat, white or light grey. UV-resistant.
Introduction
Hypertectum AF is a one-component aliphatic polyurethane membrane that cures with atmospheric humidity. It forms a highly elastic, durable, UV-resistant layer with strong adhesion to many surfaces when the correct primer is used. It is applied in two coats: AF as the first coat and AF as the finishing coat.

Hypertectum AF — full specificationBefore you start
Clean with high pressure; remove oil, grease, wax, loose concrete skin and curing compounds. Repair defects in old roofs and make sure there is no moisture beneath. Then apply the correct primer for the substrate.
The surface must be dry. Ideal temperature is 16 °C; ambient temperature must always be above 5 °C.
Application
Mix with a low-speed mixer. For airless spraying, up to 5–10% X-cleaner can be added. Apply by roller, brush or airless spray.
Do not exceed 48 hours between coats. If more than 4 days pass, a new primer must be applied.
Where it goes
Tiles, plaster and concrete, bathrooms, verandas and balconies, roofs, asphalt membranes, tanks (not for drinking water), irrigation channels, car parks and stadium stands, EPDM membranes, bridge platforms, light metal or fibre-cement roofing.
Cleaning and storage
Clean tools with ETS X-cleaner. Apply in well-ventilated areas away from naked flames; consult the safety data sheet.
Pack sizes: 1, 6, 15, 25 and 200 kg. At least 12 months in unopened pails in a dry place above 5 °C; use as soon as possible once opened.
