Hypertectum Duoflex 1K
Thixotropic one-component bitumen-PU membrane, applied in two coats.
Introduction
Hypertectum Duoflex 1K is a quick-curing, one-component, thixotropic, bitumen-extended polyurethane fluid. It forms a hydrophobic, elastic membrane with very strong adhesion to most types of substrates, including bituminous ones, and excellent mechanical and chemical resistance.

Clean the surface with a high-pressure washer where possible. Remove oil, grease, wax, cement laitance, loose particles, mould-release agents, and old cured membranes. Fill surface irregularities with a suitable product.
Standard concrete substrate conditions: strength ≥ C20/25, moisture ≤ 5%, temperature 5-35 °C, relative humidity < 85%.
Application
Apply by brush or spatula in two coats to reach a total consumption of 1.5 kg/m².
Excellent adhesion to most substrates without a primer, though testing is advised. If needed, select a primer from the Hypertectum range.
Limitations
Not recommended for unsound substrates or UV-exposed applications.
Cleaning
Wipe tools with paper towels, then clean with a suitable solvent.
Storage
At least 12 months in original unopened pails in a dry place at 5-25 °C. Once opened, use as soon as possible.
