Hypertectum Universal Primer FC
Fast-curing one-component polyurethane primer.
Introduction
Hypertectum Universal Primer FC is a one-component, fast-curing, polyurethane-based primer suitable for all substrates, both porous and non-porous. It has the same low viscosity and wetting ability as Hypertectum Universal Primer 1K, but cures faster (same-day primer). This makes it the better choice in colder climates and when rain is unpredictable.

Preparation
Clean the surface with a high-pressure washer where possible. Remove oil, grease and wax. Remove cement laitance, loose particles, mould-release agents and old cured membranes.
Application
Apply with brush or roller. Thinning can reduce the risk of bubble formation and help keep consumption below 500 g/m².
Once the primer has cured, apply the Hypertectum membrane.
Limits
Discolours when left exposed on its own. This is purely visual and does not affect the performance of the membrane.
Avoid staining surrounding areas because of its very high adhesion strength.
Cleaning
Wipe tools with paper, then clean with a suitable solvent. Rollers cannot be re-used.
Storage
At least 12 months in the original unopened containers, in a dry place at 5-25 °C. Once opened, use as soon as possible.
